Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PathFinder ("the Service"), operated by Automa ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PathFinder is an astrology platform that calculates astrological charts using astronomical ephemeris data and provides AI-generated interpretations. The Service is available as a web application and mobile application.

2. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate birth data for chart calculations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

PathFinder offers a free tier and a paid subscription (PathFinder+):

  • Free tier — limited access to chart types and features, no credit card required
  • PathFinder+ — full access to all 13 chart types, AI interpretation, and all features for $9.99/month or $59.99/year

PathFinder+ includes an optional 7-day free trial. After the trial period, your subscription begins and you will be charged automatically.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to PathFinder+ features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

No Refunds

All subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged.

4. Disclaimer — For Entertainment and Self-Reflection Only

The astrological charts, interpretations, and insights provided by the Service are intended solely for entertainment and personal self-reflection purposes. They do not constitute:

  • Professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or psychological)
  • Predictions of future events with any degree of certainty
  • A substitute for professional consultation or guidance

You should not make important life decisions based solely on information provided by the Service. We are not responsible for any actions you take based on astrological content.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate astrological interpretations. AI-generated content:

  • Is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies
  • Should not be treated as authoritative astrological counsel
  • May vary between sessions for the same chart data

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of PathFinder are the intellectual property of Automa. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

AI-generated interpretations provided to you through the Service are for your personal use only.

8. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue features at any time
  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • Change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Automa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Decisions made based on astrological content
  • Loss of data or service interruptions
  • Inaccuracies in chart calculations or AI interpretations

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
